Graduate recruitment

Why Turley?

Joining our company as a graduate, you have the opportunity to build your experience in a supportive environment working across a broad range of exciting projects.

We are committed to nurturing talent and offering all co-owners the opportunity for personal growth. We offer a comprehensive package of training and support to all co-owners and have been recognised by the RTPI with the award of Learning Partner status.

Graduates and other assistants joining the team will be invited to take part in the Assistant Level Development Programme, which is designed to help you  develop the core skills you  need at the outset of your career with Turley and to build your network within the company.

Assistant Planners will be offered full support with preparation for the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) with the RTPI and will be assigned a mentor to guide them through the process.

"At Turley, I have always been fully supported and encouraged to take on new challenges, which have broadened my experience as well as helping me build my professional competence. Being part of the Planning Team has allowed me to assume early responsibility across a range of exciting projects and to collaborate with a variety of co-owners across the company." Josh Walne, Assistant Planner. "I joined Turley as an Assistant Planner in 2011 and have been supported to develop at my own pace and make my own distinct contribution to the company. The coaching and mentoring on offer is second-to-none and I have had the opportunity to work on, and increasingly lead, some fantastic projects. I was delighted to be promoted to Director in 2021, whilst on maternity leave, and now help to lead our Planning team in the North of England." Anna Relph, Director
