30 years of Turley in Belfast
Last week, we marked the special milestone of 30 years of Turley in Belfast. Joined by clients, colleagues, former co-owners and friends, we gathered to reflect on the past three decades, celebrated our shared achievements, and looked to the future.
Our team has worked on a number of key projects across Northern Ireland since 1995, including Belfast Harbour, Titanic Quarter and Belfast City Airport. This has supported the delivery of 1,000s of much needed homes and millions of sq ft of employment and commercial floorspace, alongside a range of cultural and healthcare developments, 100s of MWs of renewable energy and the delivery of valuable and critical mineral resources.

Our service offering has grown to include Planning, Strategic Communications and Creative Design, and is supported by our service specific teams across the UK and Ireland.
Chief Executive, Stephen Bell opened the event, sharing a reflection on the Belfast team:
“I feel that our Belfast office is something of a microcosm of the wider business. Brilliant, bold, passionate, talented people doing their very best.”
Senior Director, Michael Gordon shared the story of the Belfast office’s beginnings:
“It’s hard to believe it is three decades since Rob Turley, along with Trevor Hollinger and a few other pioneers, established the Belfast office… in a small serviced office on Elmwood Avenue.
"As we celebrate this milestone, it also provides an opportunity to reflect on how our role has changed in the last three decades. We're not just grappling with planning applications; we’re helping tackle some of the major issues of our time: tackling climate change, the need to create truly inclusive, thriving communities and the delivery of much-needed infrastructure to support good growth.”

Our Belfast office, alongside our Derry~Londonderry and Dublin offices, is proud to support Simon Community, a leading homeless charity, as their chosen office charity. Find out more: https://www.turley.co.uk/news/supporting-simon-community-across-belfast…
Thank you to all our valued clients and collaborators for working with us over the past 30 years. Here’s to the next 30 years of working together.
